His prerogative is to create star quality level imaging for fashion forward clientele by projecting a unique, confident, and empowering perspective within each and every project. With a background in performance and art history, he focuses on extensive character and narrative development with a signature eclectic dramatic flair in his work. Born in Los Angeles and working for many years in NYC before moving to the UK, he is proud to have graduated with a degree in Music from the Manhattan School of Music before shifting his trajectory to fashion, where he has studied Fashion Imaging at UAL’s the London College of Fashion. He is honoured to have worked professionally in the industry in editorial settings for publications like British Vogue and Elle UK as well as having had the opportunity to style and direct projects for celebrity clientele in the film, modelling, and music industries. Well versed in both analogue techniques and digital softawres, Ry is equipped to develop imagery for graphic campaigns or brand concept ideation. In his creative work, he finds personal inspiration in fine art and historical dress, creating a unique combination focusing on texture, silhouette, and colour palette that references different periods of interest and experiences throughout his life where he has observed and gathered inspiration from his lived experiences and the countless characters he has come to know. With each project, he endeavours both to give his client the upmost confidence in themselves or their product whilst also delivering a polished, chic, and eye catching outcome that markets the project to the highest possible extent.
